Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund star has been in sensational form in the Bundesliga, and he would be a tremendous addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side if the Red Devils manage to pull it off.
As per reports, the winger has told Manchester United that he needs three assurances before the transfer can be completed.
Sancho wants Manchester United to qualify for the Champions League, and he also wants them to be a settled club on and off the pitch. Furthermore, he wants a team capable of challenging for trophies.
It will be interesting to see if United can fulfil these three conditions set by the player.
Manchester United have improved a lot since the signing of Bruno Fernandes, and they have been one of the best teams in the league since the turn of the year. If they can carry that form into next season, they should be able to challenge for trophies.
Moreover, they are a settled club on and off the pitch right now. They have a good core of young players and a young manager leading them with a long term vision. United seem financially secure as well.
Now it remains to be seen if they can qualify for the Champions League. Currently, they are fifth in the table, and they will have to break into the top four before the end of the season.
Leicester City are in fourth right now, but the Foxes are in mediocre form. United will fancy their chances of overtaking Rodgers’ side.
Manchester United are determined to land Sancho this summer, and they are prepared to spend as much as £100m to land him.
