Juventus keeping tabs on Aymeric Laporte

Juventus are said to have registered an interest in Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte, who faces an uncertain future at Etihad.

The 25-year-old, who was an integral part of Spain in Euro 2020 after switching his allegiance, has fallen down the pecking order of Pep Guardiola due to the stellar form of defensive duo John Stones and Ruben Dias.

Laporte is understood to be looking to move away from Etihad this summer while Juve are exploring the possibility of signing him.

The Old Lady need defensive reinforcements following the departure of Merih Demiral to Atalanta on loan.

However, it remains to be seen whether Laporte can be a starter due to the presence of Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci and Chiellini.

De Ligt is expected to play a key role in the defence under Max Allegri for the upcoming season. At the same time, Bonucci is likely to retain his place in the starting 11 following a stellar run in the European Championship with the Italian national team.

Lazio reveal their transfer fee for Juventus target Joaquin Correa

Lazio forward Joaquin Correa is reportedly on the wishlist of Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The Argentine attacker’s stock has risen following his impressive form in Serie A over the last few seasons. He was also part of the national team that lifted the Copa America title last month.

The 26-year-old wants to leave the Biancocelesti in order to win more trophies, and the Old Lady are closely monitoring his situation.

According to reports, Lazio would only part ways with Correa for a fee of no less than 30m euros.

PSG have been linked with Correa for a while; however, they looked to have given up the pursuit following the signing of his compatriot Lionel Messi. Inter Milan are also in the race as Simone Inzaghi is eyeing a reunion with the Argentine attacker.
