Juventus are leading Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign AS Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo according to reports.
Antonio Conte wants the Italy attacker, but it appears the north London club will have to battle with Juventus according to 90min.
Zaniolo had an impressive 2021/22 season and was one of the most influential players as Jose Mourinho’s side won the UEFA Europa Conference League. He scored six goals in Roma’s run to the final.
The 22-year-old is a versatile attacker who can play on the right flank or as a number ten.
Last week, Tottenham had held talks with AS Roma and his agent over a possible move to London. Although the player was said to be fascinated by the prospect of moving to London, the report says he is interested in staying in Serie A this summer.
Because of his insistence on staying in Italy, Juve have become the frontrunner in the race to sign him.
While no deal is agreed upon between the clubs, AS Roma hopes that any deal for the midfielder will include Arthur Melo and Moise Kean.
The Old Lady are keen to offload some midfield deadwood during the summer, with Adrien Rabiot and Arthur at the top of that list.
