Morata facing an uncertain future at Juventus

Alvaro Morata has endured a difficult second spell at Juventus, failing to replicate the form he enjoyed during his first stint.

The Spanish striker was acquired by the Old Lady from Atletico Madrid last year at the behest of then-manager Andrea Pirlo. Juve had initially agreed to a two-year loan.

Goals have dried up for the former Real Madrid star in Serie A this season, though he is highly favoured by Max Allegri.

Having agreed for 20m euros for a two-year loan, Juve have to splurge another 35m euros for Morata’s permanent signing.

The Old Lady are also understandably keen on signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is in extraordinary form. If the Turin giants manage to sign the Serbian youngster, it will leave Morata’s future in jeopardy.

As per Juve FC, Atletico are also not interested in the return of the Spanish striker, having signed Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona in the summer window.

Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, whose contract expires next summer.

The Gunners are ready to part ways with the French man after he has failed to exceed his expectations at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are looking to make a little profit from Lacazette and according to Juve FC, they are willing to accept an offer worth around 10m euros in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old is also on the wishlist of Barcelona, Atletico and Juve’s Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
