- Ball-boy Callum Hynes had lunch with Spurs squad before Bournemouth clash
- Hynes’ reactions helped Tottenham to equalise against Olympiacoos in midweek
- Jose Mourinho says he hoped gesture helped him to make ‘amazing memories’
Jose Mourinho invited Callum Hynes, the ball-boy to Tottenham’s pre-match meal after his quick reactions helped his side to score equaliser during their 4-2 win against Greek side Olympiacos during Champions League outing in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Callum Hynes met Kane and the Spurs squad and joined them for their pre-match meal at the stadium as they prepared to take on Bournemouth in the Premier League before taking up his usual place on the touchline.
During his post match press conference Jose said that he wanted to invite Callum in the Spurs dressing room post match, but he was nowhere to be found that time.
It can be remembered that during the time of play (after halftime break), Spurs were trailing 1-2 and then the incident happened. The 15-year-old, a long-serving ball-boy at White Hart Lane, earned his place in Mourinho’s affections when he threw a ball quickly for Serge Aurier to launch the attack which led to an equaliser as they fought back from two down to beat Olympiacos 4-2.
