Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has been linked with a move away from the club.
Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United are all considering transfer moves for the experienced central midfielder this summer.
As per Mundo Deportivo, the player fancies a move to Barcelona.
The report adds that Chelsea and Manchester United are prepared to offer him lucrative deals in order to bring him to England. They have approached Juventus regarding a transfer as well. It will be interesting to see if they can convince him.
Chelsea could use a playmaker like Pjanic next season. However, his arrival could end Jorginho’s time at Stamford Bridge.
The former Napoli star has been linked with an exit and Juventus are thought to be keen. The Juventus manager is a big fan of Jorginho. Sarri was the one who brought him to Chelsea and he worked with the player at Napoli as well.
It will be interesting to see if the Serie A giants can work out a deal with Chelsea that would see Pjanic and Jorginho swap places.
Jorginho has struggled to hit his best form in England and a return to Italy could be ideal for him. His style is suited to Italian football’s slow pace and Sarri would bring out the best in him.
As for Pjanic, his speed of thought and long range passing could help him adapt to English football.
He would be a very good short term addition to Lampard’s midfield. Kante and Kovacic could form a lethal partnership with the Bosnian.
Intersestingly, as Juventus return to training this week amid the coronavirus pandemic, Pjanic has shared a cryptic message through social media.
