The UEFA Champions League is set to be completed in August as per the latest reports.
The premier European knockout competition was suspended back in March and it will return once the league football is done and dusted in August.
The competition will restart from the 12th of August and the final is reportedly scheduled for the 23rd of the same month.
Several teams are still waiting for give it their best shot and win the prestigious tournament this summer.
The likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona are still left in the tournament and they will be the favorites to go all the way.
Meanwhile, the likes of Manchester City and Atletico Madrid cannot be underestimated either.
It will be interesting to see who ends up with the European jackpot in August.
The Quarter final games will be played on the 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th of August. Whereas, the semi-final will take place on the 18th and 19th of August.
The final was scheduled to take place in Istanbul but now it will be held in Lisbon.
The Quarter finals will be single-legged and this allows the quick completion of the rounds.
The likes of Paris St Germain, Atalanta, Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig are already in the next round of the competition.
Meanwhile, Manchester City’s home leg against Real Madrid, Chelsea’s trip to Bayern Munich, Juventus’s home game against Olympique Lyonnais and Napoli’s visit to Barcelona are yet to be played out so that the other Quarter finalists can be decided.
A similar plan will be followed for the Europa League starting on the 10th of August.
