Liverpool
Injury Concern: Shaqiri (calf), Matip (knee), Clyne (knee)
Predicted XI: Alisson Becker; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mané
Liverpool will start without Joel Matip, who is expected to be sidelined until after the international break with a knee injury. Xherdan Shaqiri and Nathanial Clyne also remain long-term absentees. Jurgen Klopp kept Fabinho out of the contest with Aston Villa to save him from suspension. Klopp may be tempted to rotate with a crunch title clash against Man City coming up on Sunday.
Mohamed Salah may not be named by the German manager, as the former continues to feel the effects of the ankle injury sustained against Leicester, whereby he was unable to train with the team before the clash with Villa. Divock Origi will, therefore, have his name in contention after a starring role against Arsenal and a late cameo on Saturday, while Rhian Brewster could also come under consideration for a place in the matchday squad.
Genk
Injury Concern: Vukovic (achilles), Uronen (ankle)
Predicted XI: Coucke; Mæhle, Cuesta, Lucumí, De Norre; Ito, Hrošovský, Berge, Bongonda; Onuachu, Samatta
First choice goalkeeper Danny Vukovic is out with an Achilles tendon injury, so Gaetan Coucke will deputise. Top scorer Mbwana Samatta should start after being rested at the weekend.
