Barcelona in touch with Hansi Flick’s representatives as a potential replacement for Ronald Koeman

Hansi Flick - the mastermind behind Bayern Munich's continental treble

Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Apparently, the Spanish club have been in touch with the German manager’s representatives following concerns about Ronald Koeman‘s future.

The Dutch manager has done a reasonably good job at Barcelona so far, but a club of their stature will always demand better.

Flick has done an exceptional job at the German club, and he has helped them win every single trophy at club level. He has the experience of managing an elite club, and he knows the pressure of winning trophies on a consistent basis.

Koeman has not been at a top club in his managerial career before, and he is still getting to grips with the challenges of managing an elite club.

It will be interesting to see if Barcelona can convince Flick to take over as their manager at the end of the season.

The German recently announced his departure from Bayern Munich, and he has been heavily linked with the German national team job. Apparently, he’s the front runner to take over from Joachim Low in the summer after the European Championships.

The chance to manage his country is a massive draw for any manager, and it will be interesting to see if Barcelona can convince him to turn down the offer of international management and move to Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants could use someone like him who plays free-flowing attacking football and knows how to win the major trophies.

The Spanish outfit have plenty of talent at their disposal, and someone like Hansi Flick could get the best out of young players like Ansu Fati, Ilaix Moriba and Pedri.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next two weeks.
