UEFA name their team of the season days after Champions League final in Paris

After the final competition in Paris, UEFA named their Champions League team of the season. 

Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0 to ensure their 14th Champions League crown. Karim Benzema is one of the remarkable players of Real Madrid and contributes a lot of Goals for his team. While Liverpool have notable players in the team but unfortunately, none of their forwards make it.

Hence, the Belgian player will be particularly pleased that UEFA’s committee had shown him the requisite ‘respect’ that he demanded in many of his post-final media interviews.

Luka Modric

The central midfielder was the certain surrounded by some stiff competition. His performances in the round of 16 and quarter-finals seemingly assured him of a place regardless of what might have happened in the semi-finals and final against Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea.

Undoubtedly Striker made a fascinating remark for this season. Benzema topped the Champions League scoring chart with his 15 goals, as Real Madrid beat PSG, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool in the knockout stages to win the 14th European Cup. and Messi believes that he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or award for this year.
