Premier League teams have announced their squad for the Europa League competition and here is what the Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester City teams look like.
Arsenal have decided to leave out the likes of Mesut Ozil, Sokratis and Saliba.
Ozil has been out of the starting lineup for a while now and it is no surprise that Arteta is not relying on him to play in Europe this season.
Sokratis’ omission is a surprise but the Gunners have plenty of centre backs after the signing of Gabriel and therefore it is understandable.
Saliba is yet to play a game for Arsenal and he will be disappointed to have missed out.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have left out Paulo Gazzaniga, Danny Rose and Gedson.
Gazzaniga has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Joe Hart and he has been linked with a move away from the London club this summer.
As for Rose and Gedson, they have not been a key part of Mourinho’s squad for a while now and their omission is expected.
Leicester City have left Demarai Gray, Matty James, Filip Benkovic and Islam Slimani out of their final squad for the group stages.
