Tottenham cruise past LASK with 3-0 in the Europa League

Gareth Bale-Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham picked up a 3-0 win over LASK in the Europa League earlier today, in Gareth Bale’s first team debut at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Lucas Moura handed the home side their lead on the 18th minute and Spurs doubled their advantage 9 minutes later when Andreas Andrade scored an own goal.

Son Heung-Min wrapped up Tottenham’s scoring on the 84th minute to secure all three points for the London club.

Jose Mourinho will be reasonably pleased with his team’s performance tonight especially after the result against West Ham United in their Premier League game last time out.

Tottenham were firm favourites heading into the game and the fans will be delighted with their side’s performance tonight.

The Londoners were in complete control throughout the 90 minutes and they deserve to pick up all three points.

Despite the reservations about Jose Mourinho’s style of play, Tottenham have been scoring plenty of goals this season and tonight was no different.

The Londoners played free-flowing attacking football and they could have scored more goals.

Tottenham will be hoping to win the Europa League this season and they certainly have the quality to go all the way.

It will be interesting to see if they can build on their impressive start to the European campaign and win the trophy eventually.

Mourinho has the squad depth to fight on all fronts as well and Spurs will surely fancy their chances in European football this season.
