Melbourne City
Melbourne City will look to get their third win in the last four games when they welcome Adeliade United to Melbourne on Tuesday evening.
The hosts come into this tie on the back of a 3-1 win over WS Wanderers courtesy of goals from Mathew Leckie and Florin Berenguer. Jamie Maclaren missed a penalty in the game, while Dimitrios Petratos’ goal in the 80th minute only served as a consolation for Wanderers.
The defending champions will be desperate to win this game and keep their momentum going ahead of a heavily-congested run of fixtures over the next month, in addition to Asian Champions League involvement later in the season.
They are currently sitting in second place, one point behind current leaders’ Western United. A win will take them above western United, who are not in action till later in the week.
Possible Melbourne City starting line-up
Tom Glover; Carl Jenkinson, Nuno Reis, Rostyn Griffiths, Scott Jameiseon; Taras Gomulka, Aiden O’Neil, Jordan Bos, Florin Berenguer, Scott Galloway, Stefan Colakovski.

Doubtful: None

Adelaide United
After their 1-1 draw with Wellington Phoenix last time out, Adelaide United will be desperate to get back to winning ways when they travel to AAMI Park on Tuesday evening.
The visitors had to settle for one point in their last league game, coming from behind to draw through substitute Oliveira Bernardo after Walter Sandoval had put the hosts ahead early in the game.
The result keeps their place in fourth intact. But they are in danger of crashing out of the top six given that they are just one point ahead of Wellington Phoenix, who are currently occupying the seventh spot.
They will therefore be desperate to win this game and keep their quest for a top-six finish alive ahead of a congested fixture list.
Possible Adelaide United starting line-up
Joe Gauci; Ryan Kitto, George Timotheou, Jacob Tratt, Javi Lopez; Juande, Isaias Sanchez, Craig Goodwin; George Blackwood, Bernardo Oliveira, Stefan Mauk.
Injured: Kusini Yengi, Nick Ansell, Nathan Konstandopoulos
Doubtful: None
Suspended: None
