Barcelona are thought to be keen on selling their wonder kid Ilaix Moriba this summer, and the likes of Manchester UnitedManchester City and Chelsea are on high alert.

The 18-year-old midfielder has just one year left on his current contract, but the Spanish outfit are unwilling to meet his contract demands. Apparently, the player wants considerable wages to stay at the club.

Barcelona are currently under financial pressure, and it is no surprise that they have to consider selling players to raise funds.

The youngster is highly rated at the Spanish club, and he has a massive future ahead of him. Moriba has made 18 appearances for Barcelona this season, and he has a release clause of £86 million.

It is highly unlikely that any club will agree to pay such an amount for an unproven young talent. Barcelona will have to lower their demands considerably for the transfer to go through.

The 18-year-old midfielder needs to join a club where he can play regular first-team football, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up this summer.

He has the potential to develop into a top-class player in future, and Barcelona could regret selling him this summer.

As for Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, these clubs could land a potential bargain in Moriba if he manages to fulfil his potential.

It remains to be seen whether the Premier League trio can negotiate a reasonable fee with Barcelona now.
