Manchester City have made Jack Grealish their number one target for the summer, according to reports.

The Premier League champions are reportedly willing to make the Aston Villa midfielder the first £100million player in the Premier League.

Jack Grealish has been the star performer for Aston Villa and is considered one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola wants the 25-year-old to be part of his squad next season as he looks to assemble a team that will defend their title and dominate English football for long.

The Villa captain was rewarded with a lucrative new contract by the club last September and still has four years to run on his deal. But that does not deter City from seeking his signature as they are willing to break the British transfer record in doing so.

The Sky Blues are also reportedly in hot pursuit of Harry Kane and are willing to meet the £150m price tag placed on the striker. The England captain has revealed his desire to quit north London in search of silverware and has identified Kevin De Bruyne as a player he would like to play with. It will be interesting to see if Man City can snatch the Golden Boot and best playmaker award winner of Premier League.

If City can sign both players, they will improve a squad that is already full of world-class players. The Sky Blues won their third league title in five years, wrapping up the league with three games to go.
