Tottenham Hotspur appointed Antonio Conte as their new manager and the Italian has already started making drastic changes at the club just a week after replacing Nuno Espirito Santo.

Apparently, the Italian manager is concerned about the fitness of some of the players and the Daily Mail are reporting that the former Chelsea manager has already banned ketchup and mayonnaise from the club canteen.

Conte has also informed some of his players that they are overweight and they will need to reduce weight in the coming weeks.

The report further states that the Italian has already held several gruelling training sessions.

The former Chelsea manager is known for his strict methods and the fans will be hoping that he can guide the club to silverware this season.

The Londoners spent a considerable amount of money during the summer transfer window but they struggled under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Portuguese manager has left them ninth in the league table and Conte will be expected to take them into the top four this season.

The Italian manager has done well in the Premier League before with Chelsea and he guided the Blues to a league title during his time at Stamford Bridge.

He has also managed to guide the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus to league titles.

Conte is clearly a proven winner and he is regarded as one of the finest tacticians across Europe right now.

Tottenham certainly have the bones of a very good squad and it remains to be seen whether the Italian can harness the true potential of his players in the coming months.
