Eden Hazard as a makeweight for Mbappe

Real Madrid are reportedly planning to keep Eden Hazard and use him as a makeweight in the deal for PSG ace Kylian Mbappe.

Hazard has failed to make a big impact since his highly-anticipated transfer from Chelsea in 2019, suffering a lot of injuries in the process.

The Belgian also sparked controversy for laughing with his former Chelsea teammates after Madrid’s elimination from the Champions League semi-finals. However, he apologised for the incident later and stated that it was unintentional.

Now, amid the Belgian’s exit speculations, Real have decided to use him as a makeweight for long-time target Mbappe.

However, it remains to be seen whether Les Parisiens would accept an injury-prone player in the exchange.

Brahim Diaz eyeing a key role if he wants to survive in Madrid

Brahim Diaz, who is currently on loan at AC Milan from Madrid, grabbed the headlines for his stellar performance in the 3-0 thrashing of Juventus.

The Spanish playmaker was given the rarest of starts by Stefano Pioli and he repaid his faith by scoring a spectacular goal.

Diaz moved to San Siro last summer to get more playing time.

With his loan deal expiring this summer, the Spanish capital club consider him as an important prospect but they need to ensure him more game time if they want to keep Diaz

Milan could try to extend the loan spell of the 21-year-old, having been able to get a glimpse of his potential even with the limited chances.
