Inter Milan are desperate to sign the Chelsea midfielder N’golo Kante this summer.
According to the reports, the Italian giants are willing to offload some of their fringe players in order to fund a move for the Frenchman.
The 29 year old has been outstanding for Chelsea ever since he moved to the club but it seems that Lampard is willing to cash in on the World Cup winner this summer.
Apparently, the Italian giants want to sign Kante in a £44.5m deal. However, it would be a loan with an option to buy.
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea are willing to accept that offer for the midfielder in the coming weeks.
Kante is still a quality player and he would improve Inter Milan immensely if he joins them.
Antonio Conte has worked with Kante at Chelsea and he knows all about the player. It is no surprise that the Italian manager wants a reunion with the Frenchman.
Kante helped him win the Premier League when he was in charge of Chelsea.
Inter Milan are looking to sell Dalbert, Perisic and Joao Mario this summer.
It remains to be seen whether they can offload these players in time.
Perisic was on loan at Bayern Munich last year and he helped the Germans win a treble. Bayern want to sign him permanently and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on a fee now.
Inter Milan will be hoping to challenge Juventus for the Italian League title next year and signing players like Kante would give them a good chance of fighting for the top honours next season.
