Dean Smith’s men have done well to win all four games so far and they will be hoping to build on this start and put together a winning run now.
Today’s win leaves Aston Villa second with twelve points and Leicester City are fourth in the table with nine points.
Both teams defended really well throughout the game and Brendan Rodgers will be disappointed with the late goal his team conceded.
Leicester City were without several key players including Jamie Vardy, today and they managed to put on an impressive display, all things considered.
It will be interesting to see if the Foxes can bounce back in their next game with a win. Leicester will travel to Arsenal in their next game and Aston Villa will host Leeds United next week.
Aston Villa will be ecstatic with their start to the season and it will be interesting to see how long they can keep performing at this level. With the lack of preseason and multiple injuries, the top teams seem shaky this year and there could be a surprise challenger for the Premier League this year.
