Hansi Flick reckons Leroy Sane is back to his best with Bayern Munich

Hans-Dieter Flick - Bayern's development has been crazy

Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane has been in red hot form for the German club this season and former manager Hansi Flick believes that the 25-year-old winger has now adapted to his new surroundings and he is starting to find his best form with the club.

The German international joined the Bundesliga outfit back in July 2020 and he worked with Hansi Flick during his time as the manager of Bayern Munich.

“I think it clicked for him now,” said Flick in an interview with kicker.

However, Sane was unable to display top form last season and he managed to score just 10 goals in 44 outings. The former Manchester City winger picked up 12 assists across all competitions as well.

It seems that the winger needed some time to adapt following his move from Manchester City and he has now recaptured his peak form once again.

The 25-year-old has four goals and seven assists to his name in 11 matches across all competitions and he could prove to be a key player for Julian nagelsmann this season.

Sane has proven his quality in the Premier League before with Manchester City and he was unplayable on his day.

The 25-year-old is yet to reach his peak and it is fair to assume that he will improve further with coaching and experience.

His return to form will come as a welcome boost for the club and the fans. It will be interesting to see if the winger can help the German outfit when major trophies like the Champions League this season.
