Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has been outstanding for the German club since joining them from Birmingham, and the Bundesliga outfit are set to reward him with a bumper contract.
The midfielder turns 18 later this week, and Dortmund will extend his contract for two years, and it will keep him at the German club until the summer of 2025.
The young midfielder has already established himself as a key player for the German club, and he made 36 appearances across all competitions last year.
Furthermore, he has six England caps to his name as well, and Bellingham is seen as a future star.
It is no surprise that Borussia Dortmund are looking to tie him down to a long term deal, especially with interest surrounding his future.
The 17-year-old will only get better with game time and coaching. He has the potential to develop into a world-beater in future.
Bellingham has already made two appearances in the European Championships for England. It will be interesting to see if he gets a start against Germany in the round of 16 tomorrow.
The youngster has shown exceptional maturity and quality for his age, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the top clubs came looking for him soon.
Dortmund have struggled to hold on to their young talents over the years, and Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland are already being linked with a move away from the club.
