Mino Raiola confirms Erling Haaland is likely to be on the move at the end of this season

Erling Haaland-Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has been linked with a move away from the German club for months now and his agent Mino Raiola has now confirmed that he will look to place his client at another club at the end of this season.

Haaland has already established himself as a world-class striker and he could improve most teams across the world.

A move to the Premier League would be ideal for the Norwegian international especially with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United needing a quality goalscorer.

Haaland has a clause in his contract which allows him to leave for a fee of around £65 million at the end of this season and the fee could prove to be a bargain for a player of his calibre.

Italian agent Mino Raiola has now revealed that he has been working on Haaland’s future over the last two years and he has a clear idea of where his client could end up this summer.

The player has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain as well.

It is fair to assume that a player of his calibre will join a club capable of winning the league title and the Champions League. Therefore a move to Barcelona can be ruled out and the Spanish giants are unlikely to be able to cough up the funds required for his signature either.

In the Premier League, both Manchester clubs have the financial resources to land Norwegian and he would be an instant starter for them as well.

Manchester City need to sign a quality striker to replace Sergio Aguero and Manchester United will have to find a long term replacement for Edinson Cavani.

Haaland has already proven himself in the Bundesliga and it is time for him to test himself at a higher level. On paper, a move to the Premier League seems ideal for the Norwegian international and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The player is likely to demand massive wages and very few clubs outside of the Premier League will be able to afford him.
