The FA Cup semifinal draw has been concluded and the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City will now battle it out a place in the finals of the competition.
The semifinals of the FA Cup will take place on the 18th and 19th of July and the final will take place on the 1st of August.
It will be interesting to see which of the two teams end up at Wembley in August.
Arsenal will take on Manchester City and Chelsea will face Manchester United in the two semifinals.
The Gunners were recently thrashed by Manchester City in the league and they will be desperate to avenge that defeat here.
Mikel Arteta’s side are in disarray right now and a cup win would give them a massive lift. They are unlikely to play European football through league finish next year and the FA Cup could be their ticket to Europe. If they win the tournament, they will be given direct entry to the Europa League.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have missed out on the title this year and they will want to complete a domestic double by winning the FA Cup.
As for Chelsea and Manchester United, both teams are currently fighting for a place in the top four and the FA Cup is their only chance of winning silverware this season. They will be looking to win the competition as well.
It will be interesting to see who comes out on top as the winner eventually. All four teams are capable of beating each other and claiming the prize this year.
