Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of this season and recently his agent Mino Raiola claimed that the Frenchman’s time at Old Trafford is over.
However, the 27-year-old midfielder has now contradicted the claims from his agent.
The midfielder posted a message on Instagram later on Saturday evening claiming that he has no intentions of leaving the Premier League club soon.
His post read: “Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters and I am 1000 per cent involved! Always strong together… all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change. When you don’t know what’s going on inside, don’t talk.”
Manchester United paid 89 million pounds for the World Cup winner but Pogba is yet to justify his price tag.
There is no doubt that he’s a world-class player who can improve Manchester United immensely but he has struggled to hit top form at Old Trafford since joining the club.
It will be interesting to see if the Frenchman can improve in the coming weeks and help Manchester United win some silverware this season.
The player has been linked with the likes of Juventus and it will be interesting to see if he decides to continue at Manchester United beyond this season.
Pogba has a contract until the summer of 2022 with the Premier League club and it remains to be seen whether Manchester United can convince him to sign a new deal with them.
