Barca have shared points with the Andalusian club.

Barca have played out a 1-1 draw against Sevilla at Camp Nou.

The visitors drew first blood after Luuk de Jong found the nets in the eighth minute from a Sevilla corner.

Minutes later, Barca responded with the equalizer, with Philippe Coutinho scoring his first goal of the season. Lionel Messi spotted Jordi Alba’s run and played a lofted ball which was intercepted by theSevilla defender. However, Coutinho was there to capitalize on the defender’s error to fire the shot into the net.

The Brazilian has been brilliant since his return from Bayern Munich, contributing in every game so far.

Since Coutinho’s goal, both the teams failed to make an impact, especially, the goalkeepers were called into lesser action.

In the second half, Barca defender Ronald Araujo nearly scored an own goal as En-Nesyri’s cross found his foot before hitting the post.

Sergino Dest made his debut as he replaced Jordi Alba in the final quarter of the game.

Barca looked dangerous in the final phase of the game as Lionel Messi, Frenkie de Jong had a go at the goal.

However, the closest-ever was Francisco Trincao’s chance in the injury time. Messi set it up brilliantly for the Portuguese, whose final shot was saved by Bono.

Ansu Fati hasn’t been effective like he was in the previous games while Antoine Griezmann’s unimpressive form continues.

The Europa League winners will be happy with the draw against Barca.
