The Catalan club’s vice president has praised Florentino Perez over his work at Real Madrid.

Barcelona vice president Eduard Romeu has claimed that the arch-rivals Real Madrid have the power to sign Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

Romeu has also heaped praise on Los Blancos president Florentino Perez for his impressive work.

Romeu said: It’s possible that Real Madrid signs both Mbappe and Haaland. If we had done our homework in recent years, we would be in the same situation. Florentino Perez has managed the club perfectly — hats off, he deserves recognition. At a business level, no one is going to top him.

Los Blancos are indeed linked with two of the most talented players in the world at the moment: Mbappe and Haaland.

Madrid club were keen on signing Mbappe from PSG during the summer transfer window and also submitted a whopping bid worth 170m euros.

However, Les Parisiens didn’t succumb to lucrative offer from La Liga giants, as they managed to keep hold of the French World Cup winner in the end.

Real Madrid are reportedly planning to sign the 22-year-old on a free transfer next summer while trying to reach a pre-agreement with him in January.

As far as Haaland is concerned, Madrid are among a handful of suitors keeping tabs on the Borussia Dortmund striker.

The 21-year-old could be available for as low as 75m euros next summer and Los Blancos reportedly believe they can get their hands at him.

The Norwegian striker is one of the best young players at the moment and Madrid are considering him as a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
