Jurgen Klopp lined up as a replacement for Ronald Koeman

Klopp Liverpool unlikely to have very busy transfer window

Barcelona have made a poor start to their Spanish La Liga campaign and that has fuelled speculations surrounding the future of Ronald Koeman.

According to reports via Mirror, the Spanish outfit are now looking at potential alternatives to the Dutch manager and they have identified the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a target.

The German is undoubtedly one of the best managers in world football and he has done a remarkable job since joining the Reds.

Klopp has helped the Reds win their first Premier League title in 30 years and he also guided them to their first Champions League win since 2005. He has proven his qualities with Borussia Dortmund and Mainz in the past as well and he could prove to be a sensational appointment for the Spanish outfit.

Barcelona are in need of a manager who can rebuild them from scratch and help them return to their former glories.

Jurgen Klopp has done a similar job at Dortmund and Liverpool and there is no reason why he cannot succeed at the Spanish club.

Furthermore, the German manager is used to working with limited resources and he would be the ideal manager for Barcelona now that they are in a financial crisis.

Klopp has worked wonders with young players at Dortmund and Liverpool and he could help the likes of Pedri and Fati scale greater heights at Camp Nou.

However, the German has a long term contract with the Premier League giants and it is highly unlikely that Liverpool will let him leave before the expiry of his contract.

Furthermore, Liverpool have a better squad at their disposal as compared to Barcelona right now and Klopp might feel that he has a better chance of winning trophies at Anfield.

The likes of Xavi Hernandez and Andrea Pirlo have been linked with Barcelona as well and it will be interesting to see who the Spanish outfit end up appointing as their new manager.
