Real Madrid 5-2 Celta Vigo: Hattrick hero Benzema leads dramatic comeback | La Liga 2021-22

Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid

Real Madrid picked up an emphatic win over Celta Vigo in La Liga earlier tonight.

The visitors made an impressive start to the game with a goal within the first five minutes. Los Blancos managed to get back into the contest with an equaliser from Karim Benzema soon after but the visitors took the lead once again on the 31st minute.

The Spanish giants did well to mount an impressive comeback and secure the three points eventually.

Here at Anytime football, we look at the three major talking points from tonight’s contest.

Karim Benzema leading from the front

The French international continues to be the focal point of Real Madrid’s attack since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and he showed once again why he is the most reliable player at the club right now.

Benzema scored an exceptional hat-trick for his side and set up a goal for Vinicius tonight.

Dream debut for Eduardo Camavinga

The 18-year-old midfielder made his debut in the 65th minute of the game and he managed to score his first goal for the club in the 72nd minute.

Apart from his goal, the midfielder showed signs of his tremendous talent with his flair and movement. The youngster helped out defensively as well and he did well to prevent a Celta Vigo counterattack.

The rise of Vinicius junior

The Brazilian has been exceptional for Real Madrid this season and he showed his quality once again tonight.

Despite scoring just one goal, the winger harassed the Celta Vigo defence with his pace, intelligence and trickery.

Vinicius has managed to establish himself as a key player for Carlo Ancelotti so far this season and he has all the tools to develop into a world-class footballer for the Spanish giants.
