Real and PSG battling for AC Milan star

Real Madrid and PSG are set to battle out for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, reports Sempre Milan.

Kessie’s contract at San Siro expires at the end of this season and he is being watched by a host of Europe’s top clubs.

Rossoneri have had a couple of offers turned down by the Ivorian international, who is demanding an eye-whopping salary of 9m euros per year.

Both Madrid and PSG are looking to bolster their midfield and have identified Kessie as a top target.

Los Blancos want to add more solidity to the defensive midfield position due to the lack of backup options for Casemiro.

Despite having Eduardo Camavinga at their disposal, the Spanish giants are looking for a more physical profile like Kessie.

Kessie has grown into one of the best midfielders in Serie A over the last two seasons, playing an integral role in Milan’s resurgence under Stefano Pioli.

Madrid to hand Modric yet another contract extension

Real Madrid are looking to reward Luka Modric with yet another contract extension for his impressive displays.

The 36-year-old, who signed a one-year extension last summer, has been as perfect for Los Blancos as he was before.

According to Marca, Los Blancos want to extend the Croatian’s contract for one more year until 2023.

The midfielder also feels that he can still contribute to the Spanish giants, who have been off to a flyer in La Liga this season under Carlo Ancelotti.
