Ex-Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to his former club Real Madrid to continue his training.

The Portugal international is without a club after leaving Manchester United on mutual consent last month but has returned to Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training base to keep fit while he plots his next steps.

The 37-year-old is reportedly set to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, who have offered him a lucrative deal to become the world’s highest-paid athlete.

However, while the rumours continue to spread, according to GOAL, Ronaldo’s immediate training location is Madrid’s Valdebebas complex, where he will continue to train until his future is decided.

Despite being 37, Ronaldo’s work ethic remains as ever. Less than a week ago, he was with Portugal in Qatar but is keen to keep his shape.

Ronaldo left Real Madrid in 2018 but has maintained a good relationship with the Spanish giants.
