Rangers recently won the Scottish Premiership title by beating Celtic comprehensively.
Steven Gerrard’s side have now amassed a total of 116 trophies in their history and they are now the second most successful club in the world.
Few would have expected the Scottish outfit to be in this position but the reality is that they have been more dominant as compared to the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid domestically.
Meanwhile Egyptian club Al Ahly are the most successful club in world football with 118 trophies to their name.
The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are 6th and 7th in the list with 93 and 91 trophies respectively.
Premier League giants Manchester United are 14th in the standings with 66 trophies and their slump post the Sir Alex Ferguson era has played a major part in that.
The Red Devils have failed to win a meaningful trophy since the retirement of the Scottish football manager.
German champions Bayern Munich are tenth with 78 trophies.
Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool are 17th with 60 trophies to their name and Italian giants Juventus are 15th with 66 trophies.
