Martin Odegaard-Real Sociedad-Real Madrid

Midfielder Martin Odegaard is finally set to get his chance to prove himself at Real Madrid.

The midfielder joined the Spanish Giants five years ago but he has been out on multiple loan spells so far.

Odegaard seems to have developed a lot over the last few years and Zidane plans to use him in the first team next year.

The technically gifted playmaker has already impressed during training sessions and the senior players are thought to be impressed with his talent.

The Real Madrid manager is looking to phase out Luka Modric from the first team and Odegaard could be his long term replacement at the club.

It will be interesting to see if the Norwegian midfielder can grab this opportunity with both hands and prove himself capable of starting for Real Madrid next season.

According to reports, Odegaard is highly rated in Spain right now and he is valued at 45 million euros.

The midfielder was on loan at Real Sociedad last season and he produced similar displays to that of Toni Kroos. His numbers were quite impressive and it is no surprise that Real Madrid are willing to give him his chance this year.

The likes of Kroos and Modric are in their 30s and Real Madrid need to start planning for the future now. Odegaard’s integration into the first team would be a step in the right direction for the Spanish giants.
