Sergio Ramos set for PSG medical in the next few hours

Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain this week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish international will undergo his medical with the French club in the next few hours, and he will sign a contract until June 2023.

The defender’s contract expired with Real Madrid last month, and he could prove to be a superb addition for the PSG defence on a free transfer.

The French outfit needed a quality centre back after the departure of Thiago Silva at the start of last season, and Sergio Ramos could fill that void next season.

Apart from his defensive ability, the Spanish international will bring leadership qualities and a winning mentality to the side.

Ramos has won every trophy at the club and international level with Spain and Real Madrid, and he could help the French outfit challenge for the Champions League next season.

He has won the trophy multiple times with Real Madrid, and he will know what it takes to win the competition.

PSG will be desperate for European glory next year, having spent millions on their playing squad over the last few seasons. They have come close in the past, but PSG have not managed to win the coveted trophy yet.

The French outfit are also set to announce the signings of Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Furthermore, they are also working on the signing of Moise Kean from Everton.
