Monza stunned by Balotelli’s commitment in the training ground, club chief heaps praise

Mario Balotelli-Brescia

Balotelli moved to Serie B side Monza on a free transfer in the summer.

Mario Balotelli has left his teammates of Monza stunned with his training ground heroics.

The Italian striker joined the Serie B outfit Monza on a free transfer in the summer, having spent the last season at Brescia.

Balotelli is due to play his first game for Monza, who host Salernitana in Serie B.

The 30-year-old has spent his career playing for top clubs like Liverpool, Manchester City and both Milan clubs.

Last season, the former Nice man scored 5 goals for Brescia, but that couldn’t prevent his side from relegating to the second division.

However, Monza managing director Adriano Galliani, who previously worked with Balotelli at AC Milan, has heaped praises on the striker’s commitment in the training ground.

Mario has joined us with the best intentions – and now it all depends entirely on him.

He seems highly motivated, and there is no doubting his ability.

“When he was at Milan in the 2013-14 season his goals kept us going in the Champions League.

“Here at Monza the coach and the other players tell me that, whenever he gets on the ball, he is different class.”

It will be interesting to whether Balotelli can help Monza win promotion to Serie A.
