Leipzig confirms Spurs interest in Sabitzer

Tottenham have been handed a boost in the pursuit of Marcel Sabitzer as RB Leipzig have confirmed the North Londoners’ interest.

Sabitzer, 26, turns out to be a top target for Jose Mourinho, who is keen on strengthening the midfield.

Leipzig’s Sporting director Marcus Krosche said,

“We wanted to end the year first, both sides will deal more intensively with the topic in the spring.”

Juventus youngster McKennie on the radar

Tottenham have been surprisingly linked with Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie, who has made a stellar start to life with the Italian Champions.

The young USMNT midfielder has exceeded the expectations in his debut season in Italy, producing some impressive displays and also scored in the Champions League against Barcelona.

Clarke linked to Championship on loan.

Tottenham youngster Jack Clarke, who spent his last season with Leeds United, is said to be wanted by Championship clubs Stoke City, Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry City on loan in the January transfer window.

Clarke has made two appearances for the first team in Europa League this season.

Mourinho pours praise on Ndombele

The Portugues manager has heaped praises on Tanguy Ndomebele for showing character despite a forgetful debut season.

Mourinho said,

“We are happy, apart from a couple of matches where his performances were not good. Overall there was a big evolution.” “He’s a player who is playing very well and is giving some good things to the team.”
