Ozil transfer talks
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been linked with a move away from the club and it seems that he has held talks with the Turkish club Fenerbahce regarding a move.
The German has been frozen out of the Arsenal first team and he is now prepared to take a massive wage cut in order to leave the Gunners and playing regularly once again.
Apparently, Ozil met with the Turkish club in London about a move which could see his wages dropped by 200,000 pounds a week.
Merson slams Willian
Meanwhile popular pundit Paul Merson has slammed Brazilian midfielder Willian for his performances this season.
Merson claimed that Willian has been shocking at Arsenal and he looks like a shadow of his former self.
It will be interesting to see if the Brazilian can regain his form with Arsenal and help them qualify for European football this season.
Eberechi Eze disappointment
In other news, Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze has revealed that he was distraught when he was released by Arsenal at the age of 13.
The winger recently joined the Eagles and he has been quite a revelation in the Premier League so far.
The 22-year-old is highly rated in England and he is expected to develop into a top-class player in future.
It will be interesting to see if he can continue his development and make Arsenal regret their decision to let him go almost a decade ago.
