The Leicester City boss reportedly has a verbal agreement with Man Utd.

Manchester United have a verbal agreement with Brendan Rodgers to replace under-fire manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to Football 365.

The Norwegian manager’s future at Old Trafford has been plunged into doubt due to United’s disastrous start to the season, with their recent setback coming in the derby against Manchester City.

Reports are circulating that Solskjaer could be axed, and United have also identified Leicester boss Rodgers as the ideal replacement.

It has also been added that the Red Devils have managed to strike a deal with the Scottish boss. However, he prefers to take the job at the end of this season.

The 48-year-old is considered as one of the best managers in the Premier League following his success at Leicester City.

In the last two seasons, Rodgers made Foxes a force to reckon with and missed out on the Champions League qualification by a whisker. In addition, he led them to the FA Cup title last season, beating Chelsea in the finals.

Leicester haven’t made a great start to this season, currently sitting 12th in the league table. But the Foxes are hoping to make a big mark in the Europa League.

United had been heavily linked with Antonio Conte before he took up the job with fellow English club Tottenham Hotspur.

The Italian reportedly waited till the last minute to receive an offer from the Red Devils but they decided to stick with Solskjaer.
