Chelsea join the transfer race for Nikola Milenkovic

Chelsea have joined the transfer race with fellow Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

The Serbian’s contract expires in the summer of 2022 and hence La Viola could sell him at the end of this season.

However, the transfer hinges on the future of Fikayo Tomori, who is currently on loan at AC Milan.

Milan are interested in signing Tomori permanently and if they fail to do so, Thomas Tuchel is likely to stick with the English centre-back for next season and would not sign any defender.

Jorginho interested in Napoli return

Blues midfielder Jorginho has admitted that he would like to return to his former club Napoli in future.

The Italian was part of the side that won the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Porto.

“When you live in Naples you can never forget. I had a wonderful experience and I am very fond of the city and the fans.

“Now honestly, I’m not thinking about it because my concentration is all on Chelsea. However, if there is the possibility, one day, you don’t know when, to return, of course, I’d like it.”

Belotti can be signed for 25m euros

Chelsea are seeminglly attracted towards the Italian market as they are said to be keeping tabs on Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The Italian international holds a release clause worth 100m euros but reports state that he can be acquired for a relatively lower fee of around 25m euros, with his current deal expiring next year and he also doesn’t want to extend his stay in Turin.

The Blues have been linked with a flurry of strikers including Sergio Aguero, Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martinez.
