Chelsea vs Liverpool: Predicted Starting Lineups & Key Stats

Lampard's tirade towards the Liverpool coaching staff including Klopp

Chelsea host Liverpool in the Premier League, this weekend and they will be hoping to pick up morale-boosting win over the Champions.

The Blues picked up an impressive win over Brighton last time out and they will be hoping to build on that this week.

Lampard has signed a host of new players this summer and the new signings are still getting used to the League and the style of play at Chelsea. It will be interesting to see how they perform against Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool this week.

Liverpool looked vulnerable at the back last week and they will have to improve a lot in order to contain Chelsea’s attacking quality.

Leeds United troubled them throughout the game and the whites managed to score three goals as well.

In terms of quality, Liverpool are probably the better side here but Chelsea are fully capable of winning at Stamford Bridge.

This should be a close contest and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top eventually.
