Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is regarded as one of the best players in the history of the game but the Portuguese international is equally prolific off the pitch.

The 36-year-old has an outstanding social media presence and he is one of the richest athletes in the globe according to Spanish publication Marca.

According to reports, the Manchester United attacker has recently surpassed $1 billion in career earnings as of October 2021 and the player has a net worth of around $500 million right now.

A player of Ronaldo’s calibre is understandably handed massive lucrative deals at every club and joints and the 36-year-old recently returned to Manchester United on a contract worth around £480,000 a week.

The Portuguese international is one of the highest earners in the world and he owns around £25 million per year.

Furthermore, the Manchester United star represents several iconic brands like Herbalife, DAZN and Unilever.

Despite being outstanding in the marketing side of things, Ronaldo has barely let his form on the pitch dip.

The 36-year-old has been outstanding for Manchester United since his return to Old Trafford and despite the whole team struggling to play at a high level consistently, Ronaldo has managed to chip in with vital contributions week in week out.

Ronaldo has five goals in four Champions League outings for the Red Devils and he has picked up four goals in seven Premier League appearances as well.

It will be interesting to see whether the Portuguese international can guide his club to silverware this season.
