Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has returned to Madrid following today’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.

The 31-year-old Welsh international is thought to be keen on seeing out his contract with the Spanish giants, and he will stay with RealMadrid next season.

Bale was on loan at Tottenham this season, and he has done reasonably well for the London outfit. His brace against Leicester earlier today helped Tottenham sealed their place in the UEFA Conference League for the next season.

The player is clearly not a part of Zidane’s first-team plans at Santiago Bernabeu next season, and it will be interesting to see whether he is willing to accept a backup role in beside.

A player of his calibre needs to play every week, and it remains to be seen how his future unfolds over the coming months.

According to the winger, he has already made a decision about his future, but he is not going to reveal that decision before the European Championships.

Bale believes that an announcement regarding his future now could cause chaos, and therefore he will wait until after the European Championships.

“I know what I am doing,” Bale said.”But it will just cause chaos if I say anything.”

Earlier, there were reports that Tottenham had the option to sign the winger permanently at the end of this season, but it seems that the Londoners are not willing to exercise the clause.
