Scottish Giants Rangers have been in fantastic form this season and they are currently leading the defending champions Celtic by 9 points.
Celtic will be hoping to win their 10th Scottish League title in a row this season but they will have to improve a lot in order to beat Rangers to the title.
The Scottish side’s progress under the management of Steven Gerrard shows that the former Liverpool player is already doing better than the likes of Frank Lampard, Mikel Arteta and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a manager.
Rangers have been quite impressive in the Europa League as well and their defensive organisation shows that Gerrard has learnt a lot from his former managers like Rafa Benitez.
The Scottish outfit had done well against quality European opposition like Benfica and Leverkusen.
It will be interesting to see if Gerrard can guide Rangers to a Scottish League title this season and it would certainly cement his place in the history books.
Although managing in the Scottish League cannot be compared to that of the challenge in the Premier League, it is evident that Rangers have progressed immensely under Gerrard and the same cannot be said about Lampard or Solskjaer.
That said, Mikel Arteta has done a really good job at Arsenal so far and he has helped him win two trophies already.
Gerrard will be hoping to follow suit and lead Rangers to silverware this season.
