Kane believes there is a gentle-man agreement with Tottenham to allow him to leave this summer.

Harry Kane has reportedly grown weary over Tottenham’s stance on not letting him leave this summer, with Manchester City ready to battle out for his signing before the transfer window closes.

According to reports, Kane has become utterly disappointed as he believes there is a gentleman agreement between him and Spurs chairman Levy that he can leave this summer if the North Londoners fail to win any silverware.

As it turned out, Spurs endured a disappointing last season, where they failed to qualify for the Champions League and didn’t win any trophies either.

The 28-year-old made his feeling clear months ago that he is looking to leave Spurs to spend his prime years at a top club.

Premier League champions have been continuously linked with Kane in the summer window as they are looking to make him a replacement for Sergio Aguero.

However, Spurs are holding out firm on the 28-year-old and turned down a 100m pounds offer from the Sky Blues.

Recent reports stated that City would fight for Kane till the end of the summer window and their improved bid is said to be at 125m pounds.

Earlier, Kane sparked controversy after skipping training seasons and the reports at that time stated it was a tactic to force out a move.

However, the Three Lions international later revealed that his action wasn’t intentful and he would be committed to the club whenever called upon.

Kane didn’t make it to the Nuno Santo’s squad on Sunday against Citizens but is included in the UEFA Conference League game.
