Jorge Mendes pushing Adama Traore’s move to Tottenham

Man United eyeing Adama Traore transfer, amid interest from City, Liverpool

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

According to Cadena Ser, the 25 year old Spanish international has handed the Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes a signed mandate that allows him to negotiate the player’s transfer to the London club for €40 million.

Traore is keen on a reunion with Nuno Espirito Santo at the London club and it will be interesting to see if Spurs can agree on a fee with Wolves before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

Apparently, Wolves are keen on signing the Valencia attacker Goncalo Guedes for a fee of around €25 million and they will have to raise funds to bring in the La Liga attacker.

Selling Traore to Tottenham would be ideal for them.

The 25 year old Premier League winger has shown his quality with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the past and he could prove to be a sensational long term addition for Tottenham.

The Spaniard will add explosive pace and flair Nuno Espirito Santo’s attacking unit.

Although the €40 million price seems quite steep right now, the player has the potential to justify it in the long run. Traore can be unplayable on his day but he will have to add more consistency and end product to his game.

The transfer window closes on Tuesday and Spurs will have to hurry up if they want to get the transfer over the line.
