The Borussia Dortmund striker is wanted by a host of European giants.

Erling Haaland’s future continues to be subject of speculation, while his agent Mino Raiola recently stated that the Borussia Dortmund striker could spark a transfer war next summer.

According to German transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck via Four Four Two, Liverpool have emerged as the likely destination for the 21-year-old.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are also understandably in the race for Haaland, however he remains the second option for both of them, with the latter club prioritising a move for Kylian Mbappe.

Behrenbeck also adds that PSG would look to move for the Norwegian striker if Mbappe ends up at Madrid.

Haaland’s £65m is set to become active next summer and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would be willing to splurge the cash for his signing.

However, the Reds have a stumbling block in the form of Mohamed Salah’s whose future remains uncertain at Anfield. The Egyptian international is seeking a blockbuster new deal – which also would make him the club’s highest-paid player – to continue at the Merseyside outfit.

Haaland has been in sensational form this season, racking up 16 goals and 4 assists in all competitions for Dortmund.

The former Salzburg star would be a massive addition to an already stacked Liverpool attack that contains Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Salah.

With Roberto Firmino’s performances dwindling, the Reds should prioritize a move for a new striker next summer and they should look no further than Haaland.

Haaland’s agent Raiola recently revealed that there are several clubs in contention including cash-strapped Barcelona.

The Catalan giants want to make good use of the great relationship between Raiola and their president Joan Laporta.
