Man City-Messi deal: Jesus, two more players could be included in swap deal

Lionel Messi wins the Ballon d'Or 2019

Manchester City could use three players in a deal to sign Lionel Messi this summer.

According to reports the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Eric Garcia, Angelino would be offered to the Spanish club.

Barcelona are adamant that they will not sell Lionel Messi for less than   £199 million this summer.

Manchester City are now looking to lower the asking price by offering three players in exchange.

Barcelona will need to sign a quality striker this summer with Luis Suarez expected to leave the club as well. Gabriel Jesus is one of the most talented young attackers in the world right now and he could prove to be a sensational addition.

Meanwhile, Eric Garcia has been linked with a move away from Manchester City and the player is thought to be keen on a move to Barcelona.

Garcia could be Gerard Pique’s long term replacement at the Spanish club.

Left-back Angelino has impressed with RB Leipzig this past season and he could prove to be a quality addition to Barcelona’s defence next year.

Jordi Alba will be past his peak soon and Barcelona will have to find an alternative. Angelino could prove to be a superb long term investment for the Spanish club. He has the talent and the technique to develop into a top-class left-back in future.

It will be interesting to see if the clubs can agree on a deal involving these players and Lionel Messi in the coming weeks.
