Laporte and Gabriel Jesus in Harry Kane deal

Manchester City‘s latest offer to Tottenham in the pursuit of Harry Kane appears to be including outcasts Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus in the deal.

The City are keen on signing the English striker and have already seen a £100m offer knocked back by Spurs.

Tottenham are demanding a fee in the region of £160m, and chairman Daniel Levy is not the one who would budge on it.

It has been doubted whether City could shell out on Kane, having recently signed Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for a record deal.

Now, City are ready to include two of their unfavoured stars Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus, as makeweights in a possible deal for Kane.

Earlier, Pep Guardiola stated that a handful of players – who are deemed outcasts – want to leave the Sky Blues this summer.

Tottenham eyeing Braithwaite as Kane alternative

Kane’s uncertain future has driven Spurs to look out for strikers in the transfer market.

Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite has emerged on Spurs’ radar as the Catalan club is willing to listen to the offers for him.

The 30-year-old made a shock switch to the Nou Camp in 2019 from Leganes, and he has been used as an impact substitute since then.

Now, the cash-strapped Barca have placed several players on the transfer exchange, including the Danish international.

Spurs could face competition from West Ham, who are also keen on adding Braithwaite to their ranks.

The North Londoners have also been linked with Lautaro Martinez after reportedly offering £60m to Inter Milan.
