Manchester United transfer updates: Telles and Sancho stance, La Liga winger eyed, Cavani and Jovic interest, Sancho alternatives, defenders’ future

Alex Telles and Jadon Sancho stance

Manchester United are said to be working on the deals for Alex Telles and Jadon Sancho, though the former one looks a feasible option. Sancho would be a record transfer if United were able to pull off the deal, but the chances are slim.

United considering Ousmane Dembele

Manchester United are considering the option of Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as an alternative for Jadon Sancho. Barca are also open to selling the French winger, who has endured a tough spell over the course, to generate funds for their transfer target Memphis Depay – a former Man Utd player.

Sancho alternatives – Sarr, Costa and Brooks

Besides Dembele, United have sorted out several alternatives for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho. The list includes Ismaila Sarr – who Watford rates around 30m pounds -, Douglas Costa and David Brooks. Juventus winger Costa has been deemed expendable by the Serie A Champions.

Diogo Dalot future

As said before, Telles remains a possible target for the Red Devil, and his arrival could be the end for outcast Diogo Dalot.

Smalling and Rojo decision

Man Utd have reportedly informed Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo to leave the club, but the latter one is devoid of suitors. Meanwhile, Smalling has been wanted by AS Roma – where he spent his last season on loan – and Inter Milan.

Edinson Cavani and Jovic – striker targets

Manchester United are in talks with free agent Edinson Cavani over a possible move. Cavani, who has been in the lookout for a new club since leaving PSG, was close to joining Benfica but the transfer move stalled. Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic is another option on the table for the Red Devils.
