Manchester United are plotting a rebuild, and some of their players could be on the chopping block this summer.

According to ESPN, the likes of Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek could be sold to fund some of Solskjaer’s signings.

The Premier League club are ready to consider realistic offers for the two players.

Van de Beek has had a nightmare spell at Old Trafford since his move from Ajax, and he has hardly featured for Manchester United.

The Red Devils paid £40 million for him, and the 24-year-old will be hoping to turn his career around at the Manchester club next season.

It will be interesting to see if he gets an opportunity to prove himself in England next year.

Meanwhile, Anthony Martial has struggled with injury problems this past season. The Frenchman has not featured since March, and if someone like Jadon Sancho arrives this summer, he could fall further down the pecking order.

The Frenchman arrived at Old Trafford with a lot of expectations a few years ago, but he has not been able to fulfil his potential at Manchester United.

There is no doubt that Martial is a top-class talent, but he has been quite inconsistent since joining the club, and Solskjaer might feel that the time is right for an upgrade.

The Red Devils are thought to be closing in on the signing of Jadon Sancho, and they have been linked with the move for a striker as well.
