Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly been offered to Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund as per MEN.

The 24 year old Dutch international has struggled to hold down a regular starting berth at Old Trafford since his £35 million move from Ajax in 2020.

It seems that the midfielder has failed to win the trust of Ralf Rangnick, and it will be interesting to see if he gets his move away from the Premier League club this month.

A move to Newcastle or Dortmund could be ideal for the player right now.

The Dutch international needs to play regularly in order to regain his confidence and sharpness. With the World Cup coming up, he cannot afford to sit on the bench at Manchester United every week, and a loan move in January would be ideal for all parties involved.

Newcastle could undoubtedly use some midfield reinforcements, and the former Ajax midfielder could prove to be a useful addition in the short term.

Similarly, Dortmund could use a creative midfielder like van de Beek, and a move to the German club seems ideal on paper for the player.

The midfielder was heavily linked with a move away from the club at the start of the season. Everton were reportedly close to signing the player period; however, he was denied a move by the then Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

However, van de Beek has started just four games in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, and he needs more opportunities to showcase his potential.

The 24-year-old was rated as one of the most exciting young players around Europe during his time at Ajax, and he has the potential to develop into a world-class footballer.

Evidently, his development has stalled at Old Trafford, and a move away from the Premier League club should be his top priority this month.
